We just adopted 2 kittens from here. It's a much smaller facility than the one in colorado springs, but I think that's why I like it better. It was clean and well taken care of. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice.
The folks here truly care for animals. I have surrendered 2 cats and a kitten that were dumped. Morris, the last rescue was adopted in less than two days. We gave him a resume and a box to take filled with food, treats, toys, and a blanket. His new family had pictures and a short story as we knew it. I hope he found a good forever home. He wanted a home, he slept in bed with us, held on the sofa watching tv.
I would have kept him but adopted 2 kittens just a month before he came along.
Front desk lady was very rude. I went in to adopt a dog and found one I liked and was told that the dog was put on hold for me. I arrived an hour later with my boyfriend and saw the dog was being visited. We visited the dog again and then went to the front to adopt and was told she was already being adopted. Heartbreaking experience. I hope nobody has to go through this.
Staff is professional and facility is clean. They got Dingo up to date on his shots and neutered him so that I could adopt him.
We found our perfect new fur baby. The staff were amazing. Definitely a great place to find your new family member.
We recently adopted a cat from here, staff was very friendly, animals appeared to be well taken care of. We were told cat was shy, 5 minutes after we got her home we discovered not only was she not shy, but a very energetic animal that is very loving and an excellent 3am zoom machine. We absolutely adore little ginger, and are very happy with our decision to adopt her. Huge thanks to the entire facility and staff that helped us. Great things being done for these animals.
I had an amazing experience adopting here but today I had an icky interaction with a staff member named Nicole. she definitely gave the vibe that I and a few others in the lobby had inconvenienced her night by coming in when we could. to be fair it was about 10mins before they close but the hours here are the same as any other regular 9-5 job. I'm happy to have made it in at all so the lost cat I found had a warm place to be for the week and a few meals to fill her tummy. I just don't appreciate how she just HAD to express the disdain she has for her job and felt okay talking to people the way she did. her attitude was completely unnecessary and didn't do anyone any favors.
If I can give a ----0000 reviews If i would. I have adopted 2 dogs in the last 2 yrs and the same incompetent, unknowledged disrespectful people I've had to deal with. No knowledge on either one of the dogs Ive adopted. They do not do a thorough exam to determine the health of the pup. I had one that was so immeaciated and her teeth were so were so bad that they didn't tell us. And the other one they made us go to Springs to do dental care. Why is it that they are so quick to get ride of the animals but not willing to put the effort to Caring for them. They should be shutdown for neglect and and abuse
